Description

This piece is part of a new series I have made using teabags. I use refillable bags, soak them in tea overnight and then paint on them with watercolors. It takes many layers to create each piece of art, but I love the soft hazy affect. Each teabag is mounted dimensionally and placed together with the calligraphy to make the final presentation. The words are : Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul. And sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all.

Framed in metal frames, mat and frame colors match the piece.
